When the baby is born, however, hormones change rapidly, and all those hair follicles go into the resting state, or telogen, at the same time. Remember, telogen lasts about three months, so about three months after the baby is born, all 28,000 of those hairs fall out about the same time.

Apart from hair loss, vitamin A which commonly found in our drinks and foods if abused can also cause vomiting and blurred vision. According to National Institutes of Health the RDA (recommended dietary allowance) of vitamin A for women (adult) is 700 micrograms daily (2,300 IU).

And for unknown reasons, hypothyroidism always leads to thinning of hair. He added that iodine deficiency causes hair loss because of the lack of thyroid hormones in the body. Some iodine rich foods are seaweeds, cranberries, cod fish, tuna, eggs and potato to name a few.
Probably the most common reason for hair loss in women is your family history. If all your relatives went bald early, then don’t be surprised if it happens to you too. It isn’t an automatic thing to happen, but you could take some precautions like maintaining a good diet, and looking after yourself well so that you have less chance of it happening to you. There are many options to try to get your hair growing again, but not all methods have had success with everyone. Nor do hair transplants work for everyone. Laser hair therapy does seem to be having some success these days, but the process can be lengthy and so expensive.
