The modern world has a lot to offer. From simple joys of social media to an automated system that makes life a lot easier, it’s really a good life when thinking about it. But with the modern world also comes a lot of stress. These days you might be very lucky to see a city street without the abundance of traffic. Or perhaps you’re facing a very commanding boss on daily basis. All of these causes stress and it is not a good thing for your crowning glory.
Stress, in general, is not just related to psychological aspect but with physical manifestation as well. Many times people associate stress with their psychological state but little did they know that stress will eventually affect their physical state. This happens when you can’t vent your mind boggling aches inside. This would often lead to poor diet by choosing the wrong food to cope with those psychological challenges. Then as often times people do not really get hold of their stress, poor health will manifest.
Stress and Hair Loss – how are they connected?
Did you know that your hair and skin can show your state of health? Yes, when you see skin problems like acne or dryness, this is often is a sign of a poor nutrition. What happens here is that your body does not receive the right level of nutrition it needs. Or in some instances, you are not having the right amount of rest. These things result to more toxins inside you. Yes, what you eat defines you and when you’re stressed, you are not likely to choose the right foods. And often, this does not just end with your skin.
As your hair needs the right nutrients, its well-being is very much dependent on what you eat. Now, it’s not just really what you eat that is being affected by stress, it can also lead to poor sleeping habits. Have you experienced having sleepless nights? Remember what you felt the next day? That tired feeling multiplies your level of stress. If stress is the reason for those sleepless nights then it’s really a start of a never ending cycle of stress.
To stop stress from pulling your hair out, you need to have a break. And it’s not just about staying away from the bad choice of foods. Take note that one important cause of stress these days is your environment. It’s the pollution you face daily that gives you poison. It’s your office space that gives you that negative psychological state thus giving you a lot of troubles.
In order to keep things in check try to relax a bit. Train your mind to stay away from negative thoughts. Stay away from problem foods. One simple way to cope with stress is a simple walk. If you find yourself on the brink of anxiety, at home or at work, try to walk. When you’re at home go out and stroll a bit, this will give your mind a break. If you’re in the office, try to use the stairs instead on an elevator if possible. Or simply walk around for a few minutes to keep things in check. Always Remember that stress and hair loss is connected, and stress can become a habit, so if you don’t want to keep counting strands of your hair in your comb, try to avoid it as much as possible.
